Who Should Take the Class?
- Anyone who wants to explore an interest in the Education Career Field and have FUN while learning.
- Ex: Classroom Teacher, Nurse, School Psychologist, Speech Therapist, Principal, and more.
About the Class:
This is a year-long elective designed to explore careers in education through fun hands-on and project based activities.

o College and Career Planning within the Educational Field of Study
o Exploration of Children’s Literature
o Reading Buddies with Clovis North Area Elementary Students
o Classroom Cooking Activities
o Horticulture within the Classroom
o Guest Speakers
o Thematic Art Projects

Special Note:
- This is the first opportunity for students at Granite Ridge to explore the Educational Pathway at CNEC. Students who decide to continue in the Education Pathway into high school, can take G.P.A. weighted classes and dual-enrollment classes where they will earn college units for FREE.
